JCL TEAM UKYO, chaired by former F1 driver Ukyo Katayama, is a cycling road race team launched in 2023 with the goal of becoming the first Japanese national team ever to compete in the Tour de France and climb the podium.
JCL TEAM UKYO has a lineup of top-class Japanese riders, and from the 2024 season, Alberto Volpi, one of the Sports Directors who led the Bahrain Victorias to the overall team victory at the Giro d'Italia last summer, has been brought in as General Manager.
