This competition was held with participants observing preventive measures against COVID-19. Also, this year marked a change in the name of the race to “Gekizaka King of Speed Competition.” With the addition of the new “Piston section” (distance of 27 km) to the race, featuring alternating climbs and descents, the total number of participants exceeded 1,000. Many of our employees with good legs also took part. As with the previous competition, we provided mineral water, in addition to face shields and gloves to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
